BenCAD vs AutoCAD Web
Both run in a web browser. AutoCAD Web is Autodesk's cut-down online AutoCAD for viewing and light editing of DWG files, included with an AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT subscription. BenCAD is a free online 2D CAD tool built for phones and tablets as well as desktops.

Choose AutoCAD Web if
You already pay for AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT, your team works in DWG, and you need to check or mark up drawings away from your desk.
Choose BenCAD if
You want to start drawing now without a subscription, you draw on a phone or tablet, or you need DXF output, true-scale PDFs and floor-plan tools such as room labels with areas, door and window blocks and material hatches.
Files between the two
BenCAD does not open DWG. Save from AutoCAD as DXF, then import it; send drawings back with DXF export, which AutoCAD opens at real size.
