Choose LibreCAD if

You want open-source software you install, work offline at a desk, and are happy with a traditional desktop CAD interface.

Choose BenCAD if

You want to draw on a phone or tablet, on a computer you cannot install software on, or you want floor-plan tools such as room labels and blocks built in.

Using both

Both speak DXF. Draw on site in BenCAD, export a DXF, and open it in LibreCAD back at the desk.
